North Urology was established by Dr. Arman Kahokehr with a single mission: to provide the highest quality urological care using the latest medical technology and evidence-based treatment approaches. Dr. Arman Kahokehr

Urological Surgeon — BHB, MBChB, PGDMedSci, PhD, FRACS, FUSANZ

Dr. Kahokehr is a specialist urological surgeon practising at North Urology's consulting rooms in Gawler and Gawler South, serving patients across the Barossa Valley and greater northern Adelaide region. He holds a Bachelor of Health Sciences, MBChB, Postgraduate Diploma in Medical Sciences, and a PhD, and has completed advanced surgical training through the Royal Australasian College of Surgeons (RACS), achieving Fellowship of FRACS and Fellowship of USANZ (FUSANZ). Dr. Kahokehr provides comprehensive urological care across a broad range of conditions including kidney stones, prostate disease, haematuria, urinary incontinence, bladder conditions, vasectomy, and complex reconstructive surgery. He is committed to evidence-based, patient-centred care for the communities of northern South Australia.

Urodynamic Testing

Full urodynamic assessment including uroflowmetry, filling cystometry, and pressure-flow studies. These investigations provide objective data on bladder and outlet function, enabling accurate diagnosis of voiding dysfunction and guiding targeted treatment decisions.

Flexible Ureteroscopy

Flexible ureteroscopy with holmium laser fragmentation is the current standard of care for most kidney and ureteric stones. A fine flexible scope is passed directly to the stone under vision, allowing precise laser fragmentation and basket retrieval with no incisions and rapid recovery.

Laser Therapy

Advanced laser technology enables precise tissue removal and vaporization for conditions like benign prostate hyperplasia and bladder tumors. Laser procedures offer excellent hemostasis, minimal bleeding, and rapid recovery compared to traditional approaches.
